Mason Jar Blender DIY

I saw this on Pinterest, and was curious to see if it really worked. The post claimed Mason Jars would screw on to a blender and could be used to blend in. 

We tried it, and it works PERFECTLY! 

We only have one blender, so I wasn't able to test it on others. I'm curious to see if they all have the same screw threading size... or if we just got lucky?  The Mr. was concerned the blades wouldn't clear  while it blends- but it does. What an awesome idea!? Imagine the possibilities!

Sauces and dips immediately ready to be frozen or refrigerated... Individual sized smoothies... blended margaritas... desserts... salsa... easily pourable pancake batter...hummus... 

This is my new favorite thing.
